The Hunger Games Entry 6 by Katniss Everdeen

Wow, I can't believe our designers just came up with that idea! It was insane how we got lit on  fire, but we weren't burning. We were actually glowing. Peeta and I were dressed up in identical costumes as we mounted our chariot. Then before we knew it were lit on fire, but the material was fire proof so we didn't get burned. Instead of burning it appeared that we were glowing.
Peeta looked so wonderful when he was glowing beside me. We even held hands while we were moving throughout the city on the chariot! I am definitley in love with him. I hope that  the Gamemakers don't realize that we are in love and spot this as a weakness. I am pretty sure that our mentor Haymitch is aware of our lovefest. I hope that if the Gamemakers become aware of our relationship then we will be given extra sponsors who give us some sympathy.

The Hunger Games Entry 5 by Prim and Katniss(Dad)

I am very proud of both my daughters and my wife. I am glad to see that Katniss is so skillful with her bow. I taught most of the things she knows, but her instincts are what allows her to kill half of the animals she sees. Prim has potential to be an excellent hunter as well. I hope Katniss is able to teach Prim how to use a bow. I am glad to see that our old friend Gale is still hunting with Gale. I have noticed that they work well together.
As for the situation with The Hunger Games, I believe that Katniss can win these games. She can win, because she has the best instincts of all the tributes. Although I am upset that both of my daughters were picked to be tributes out of the two Katniss is best fit to win and survive. All that I wanted to say was good luck to Katniss.

The Hunger Games Entry 4 by Haymitch

I am noticing a lot of differences between this years tributes and last years. First of all the girl and boy for this year have a different flare to them. The girl especially is special. She has a look in her eyes that sends cold chills running down my spine. She looks very confident, I will likely not need to coach her quite as much as I will the boy. He on the other hand is going to be a mess once he gets into that arena. He will surely die quickly if he doesn't team up with the girl.
I think that the girl has an excellent chance of winning the games. The boy on the other hand will have to team up with the girl in order to have a living chance. My plan with the boy is to have him get the sponsors for the both of them and the girl will make all the kills for the both of them. I plan to have the boy attract sponsors by making a stunning entrance at the opening ceremonies and the interviews. While the girl makes the best of the training score and in the arena killing the other tributes. If all goes to plan, District 12 will surely be the victor.

The Hunger Games Entry 3 by Primrose Everdeen

Wow, I can't believe that my sister is going to potentially sacrifice her life to protect me! I surely would have died, but she has a chance if she can get possession of a bow and a quiver of arrows. She would make my father proud with her skills. He taught her many things. I am so proud of her, because she has supplied our family with food when we don't have money, and she has always been very smart. I wish my father had been able to teach me the skills that he taught Katniss, but I know I wouldn't be any good since I am small and weak.
I love my sister so much and I wouldn't want anything to ever happen to her. I think that Peeta will help in protecting her during the games. I am very grateful for all that my sister has done and would most likely not be alive without her. If there was anything that I could do to protect Katniss in the arena I would do it. She is the most important thing in my life and she is the most deserving tribute to win the games.

The Hunger Games Entry 2 by Peeta Mellark

I finally realized as I walked onto the stage after I had been picked as a Tribute, that I truly was in love with  Katniss Everdeen. She is the most beautiful person I have ever met and I would love to be in a relationship with her. I love how she is so strong for a girl her age, both physically and mentally. I also like that she has the one single braid down her back. Ever since the first day of kindergarten I knew that she was the one I wanted to be with. My main focus in life isn't making bread, but becoming closer to her, and I think that being in the arena will be the perfect oppurtunity to do so.
While in the arena my master plan will be to gang up with other districts and "try to hunt her down". But the real plan is that I will trick them and lead them to wrong spots in order to protect her. After all I would do anything in my power to save her from death. To continue off of my plan I will meet up with her later on in the arena. She is my main focus and I will do anything to help her.

The Hunger Games Entry 1 by Katniss Everdeen

I don't know what went through my head as I realized that my loving sister Prim had just been picked as the girl Tribute from District 12. All that I can remember is that I had an awkward flashback when I was sitting on the stage after I had volunteered to take my sisters spot in the games. They had just called the boy Tributes name and my head began to spin into this scene where I had just come into our district after hunting illegally. It was very cold and rainy. I was very tempted to start crying, but I made it up to only when I had stopped in front of the bakery window. Everything in the bakery was warm and glowing with the life of the fire. I then crumpled. I slowly groggily made my way over to a tree and sat under it. The tree was behind the bakery. All of a sudden the bakers son named Peeta came out and tossed me a burnt loaf of bread. Thats was the only memory that I am able to recall of Peeta Mellark.
Peeta Mellark! I had never really talked to him much before, but I knew that there was something special about him from the moment he walked up onto the stage. I couldn't tell what it was, but there was definitley  something. Now I can't believe I had been ignoring him for so long. I think that I am having a teenage dilemma. I think I am in love with Peeta, but I know that I don't want to be. He is that special someone mother always talks about in the fairy tales she used to tell us. I am in love with Peeta Mellark!!!
